Of course, my house is not a finished product. I'm always changing things and nothing is ever really done. In fact, there are rooms I haven't even touched yet. So, I'll add to the House Tour as things get done or changed.
Today, I want to show you pictures of my living room. This room has had some big changes in the past few months, most notably the addition of my new favorite color, navy blue.
I'm thinking about changing things up on the gallery wall above the piano and I still have a little more painting to do in those niches up high. Stay tuned.
Ooops...looks like I missed some clutter back there. Just keeping it real!
I still would like a new couch, but with three young kids and the dogs, it's not a huge priority right now.
Here's my baby fiddle-leaf fig tree. I can't wait until it gets huge and tall. Hopefully, I won't kill it before then!
This is just Part One of the house tour. I'll be back with some pictures and links to my other rooms.

ReplyDeleteLooks very nice!
ReplyDeleteOur sofa is covered in marker, and I plan on waiting until the youngest has moved beyond the "the world is my canvas" stage. Three little ones at home all the time taxes my furniture!
Suzy your space is looking great......I want a new couch too but with two dogs.....why not throw my money out the window. The navy accents and your Ikat print chairs look awesome.....keep on tweaking because we are never done.
ReplyDeleteGreat goal Suzy! You've accomplished so much. Your house looks great and you've worked hard to get it to look that way. What did you decide about the cabinets?
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I love a good house tour! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it. I feel you on the new couch thing though. We have an oversized (hideous) but terribly comfy and kid friendly couch that we'll probably have for a while.
ReplyDeleteI love that little alcove! it's so unique!
ReplyDeleteHey Cassie stole my word! Eclectic is just what I was going to say - I love that it has a fun, unique, colorful, comfortable vibe and is pulled together. Those chairs - I die over them!!! I want to come visit you and hang out right there! I love the home tour idea - I need to do that too one of these days….I love seeing your space as a whole after seeing all the projects that went into it!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty and fresh in your house!
ReplyDelete(when I first clicked on your post, I thought that first sentence said that your friend was "putting a goal post in her home"....apparently I need another cup of coffee!)
Love your family room. I love the little pops of blue all over. and I've never noticed your piano. I love that color! i really want to get an old piano and spray paint it.
