Pink Flamingos

If you had asked me what I thought of flamingos a year ago, I probably would have responded that I thought they were kind of creepy with their long scaly legs, beady eyes, and knobby beak.

What do you think of flamingos?  Does it bring to mind Hawaiian shirts or a yard filled with plastic birds?

 I've found a few Etsy favorites in case you are thinking of adding a pop of orange to your home.

We were at my brother-in-law's house over Christmas and he had just remodeled a bathroom in his home and painted it an orange color similar to Tangerine Tango.  It looked great.  I'll have to see if I can get pictures.  My sister is also using orange accents in her nursery and she has promised me pictures, but none have arrived yet.  (Gina???  Are you sending the pics?)

What do you think?  Do you have plans to incorporate tangerine into your home?  I like it in small-ish doses and think it's really cute with pink for a girl's room.

Hello!  We made it through Halloween and now we're in the mad dash to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I know you have been seeing this dresser from Lindauer Designs everywhere, but I had to share it too because it's sooo cool.  I love subway art and can't wait to try this on a piece of furniture.

The Salvage Collection has done it yet again with this hutch.  The pop of color is perfect.
