Sneak Peek

First, happy birthday to my awesome dad!

Without all of his love and encouragement throughout the years I would never have had the courage to do all of the things I do today.

Look what I just picked up. I saw it at a garage sale on the way home from dropping K off at school.

She definitely needs a lot of work. But I was drawn to the Greek-key motif on the center drawers and the V-inlay on the side doors. Gorgeous.

I need your help! What color should I paint her? I'm thinking about possibly leaving the side doors as-is (as-are?) so the V-inlay is visible and painting the rest light blue? What do you think???

Hmmm I think I would paint it up white and distress it get some pretty knobs at least to break up the boring look of it or you say geeky lol and maybe not use the drawers and use them as shelves.
Then use it to hold our big screen and the dvd player just my rambling though cant wait to see what you come up with!

Wow - I'm going to go against type here and suggest you try refinishing all that beautiful inlaid wood. It's tough to tell...is the wood in bad shape? Maybe keep some of the wood showing and paint some? Oh boy - I'm torn on this! Good luck!!
